Where the wild things are in Sydney. Just a short 20 minute ferry ride from Circular Quay to the dock at Taronga Zoo. It’s the only zoo we have been to that is built into the side of a substantial hill and yet is fully accessible.
Not too much added commentary for this post – the zoo is quite amazing and easily worth an entire day to explore.
And as a footnote, a platypus is quite a bit smaller than you might expect.

And of course there were more koalas, hanging out, sleeping…
